SFE Repeat Year

I'll be repeating my first year of my first undergraduate course in Medicine this September due to getting a resit deferred, however my SFE application has already been approved to go into my second year. I've been invited by my uni to re-enroll for year 1, will this automatically notify SFE that I'm repeating the year and apply my gift year? If not, how should I let SFE know that I'm repeating the year/what's the process? Do I have to tell my uni to notify SFE? Will I have to reapply? The only circumstance that has changed is me going into 1st year again instead of second year.

Hi there, We would need the application to be updated to reflect the change in the year of the course you are now going to be studying. Depending on the status of your application you may be able to make the change via you online account - Select Application > View and manage your applications link on the right hand side > Change your application > University/college and course. Hi, thank you for responding. My application status is approved. Just to doubly confirm, if I change my year online from 2nd to 1st SFE will automatically view it as a repeat year? And is this likely to affect my funding at all?
