Hi 👋

Congrats on being shortlisted for an interview here at Wrexham.

The interviews are a great chance for you to be able to see if you think you would be a good fit for the University and if you think that we fit you. I would advise you to try and get across all your relevant experience and skills to the interviewer.

As well as this I would make sure that you watch the video that explains more about the interview process that would have been sent to you via email as this will ensure that you are familiar with the interview process.

I hope this helps,

Matt

Hi Hannah,
How many days in a week do you have face to face lecturers and how many days are you free in a week? Also, is the Nursing placements within Wrexham or outside of Wrexham?

Hi there,

I hope you are okay. I am in face-to-face lectures twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and online lectures (Wednesdays). Placement hours are completed depending on the placement you are allocated to. This could be 3x12-hour shifts in the week (this can include bank holidays, weekends, and nights) or 9-5 hours Monday to Friday.

In terms of placements, they are allocated depending on whether you can drive. If you are a non-driver they can be allocated a placement in Wrexham in you are a driver, you are more likely to be allocated a placement in Wrexham, Flintshire and Mold.

Hope this helps,
Hannah Telling - (2nd Year MH Nursing Student)
