Can Labour lose the next election over the Winter Fuel allowance?

Is it possible for Labour to lose the next election over the Winter Fuel Allowance?
No. Pensioners never voted for Labour anyway, and public sector workers have just gotten a payrise. If Labour can fix the NHS and not increase personal taxes, that will help win swing-voters as well. Labour is just getting the most unpopular policy out of the way first while they have a big majority.

Immigration will probably be what decides the next election, and maybe housing.
No, I think this will be long forgotten by the time of the next election.

Labour need to improve public services to be re-elected.

Yes. It’s also highly probable that Reform UK will win the next election if not on their own they’ll certainly form a coalition with the conservatives. If Trump wins then Reform UK could become the most powerful party in Britain with US funding.

It is completely unlikely that Reform will win the next election. They barely poll at all in many constituencies and where as immigration and small boats are a real problem for communities in the SE Kent, for the rest of the country, they are just news.

Certainly?

How much have you bet on this certainty so far?
