how to get motivation to study?

i need help i have got a maths gsce resit in november and need to pass but i feel im too distracted with other things!<3
I find it useful to start a task and set a timer for how long you want to study for, which makes me motivated to carry on studying until the timer finishes.

Also, setting white noise for the first 10 minutes of the task and then turning it off after 10 minutes really helps me to focus more on the task I'm doing

It's important to take regular breaks as well so you're not overworking yourself

What works for me is trying to make studying enjoyable. I like to make any notes I make nice and colourful with highlighters and different coloured pens- I feel a lot more fulfilled if they are aesthetically pleasing and nice to look at afterwards! I also liked watching comfort shows, shows that I've watched so many times so don't have to concentrate on it but it is just something there on in the background. Hope this helps! 🙂

when i study, i tell myself (even though it may not be necessarily true) that there is someone out there doing the exact same thing as me, but they are putting 10 times more effort in, they will get what the result, cause they worked hard while i was not working to my full potential. this motivates me so much or like motivational quotes/podcasts. i love those.

I usually spend about 15 to 20 minutes "priming" myself mentally so that I can get motivated. I love reading motivational quotes or listening to motivational speakers then really get me focused and hyped up. Love motivational speakers like David Goggins, Eric Thomas, or Tony Robbins.
