Hiya,

It’s never easy to choose a university, but there are some great options there 😊

Have you contacted the Admissions department at the universities? They can help with queries and questions around applications and applying. Feel free to contact our Medicine admissions department:
📞 01245 687906
📧 [email protected]

Have you also attended any Open Days at the universities you’re interested in? They’re a great way to get onto campus and speak with the academic staff and students, explore the medicine facilities, and to see if the university is right for you. Our next Open Day is on Saturday 5th October if you’d like to book your place today 😊

If you have any queries or questions, feel free to get in contact with us,

Best of luck!
Jemma

Hi there,

You’ve got a really strong profile—great A-levels, a solid UCAT, and top-notch GCSEs! Since UEA is on your list, I wanted to highlight why it might be a fantastic fit for you. Not only does the med school have an integrated curriculum with early clinical exposure, but it also partners with a teaching hospital, meaning you get hands-on experience right from the start. That’s a huge advantage when preparing for the realities of medical practice.

Plus, Norwich itself is a vibrant city—big enough to have everything you need but small enough to feel welcoming. It’s a beautiful place with a mix of history and modernity, and it’s often rated as one of the safest student cities in the UK. UEA’s campus is also super green, with a strong community feel, and the cost of living is more affordable compared to other cities like London.

All in all, UEA and Norwich could offer you a great balance of academic excellence and quality of life. Definitely worth considering!

If you'd like to chat with current students and academics get in touch here: https://www.uea.ac.uk/ask-us. Or, feel free to get in touch with our Admissions team here: https://www.uea.ac.uk/study/enquiries/live-chat

Best,
