Fee status and Student Finance

hi guys, i have a question regarding my fee status at the uni, the thing is my uni which i start this year considered me an overseas student as i haven’t lived here for full three years even tho i got my ilr (settled status) but i can still be under the home student category as i got my ilr as a domestic violence victim, i was trying to prove it to the uni multiple times by sending letters from my solicitors and home office, but they were saying that it doesn’t count each time and i should find something else. it’s been two weeks since i sent them something that should convince them that i’m a home student but there’s no reply and the team keeps saying that their admissions are currently very busy and i should just wait. it’s so late now and i’m really confused as all the other unis i’ve applied for have told me that i’m domestic student and the literal student finance has approved my maintenance loan. my question is does student finance use the same UKCISA laws in order to choose who’s eligible for maintenance loan? cause it’s saying they’ll cover the uni’s tuition fee which is £9.250 and will be paying me £13.600 maintenance loan so i don’t really understand what to do. these loans must be confirmed by the uni, do you think they would consider me a home student as now student finance approved it? or it uses some other criteria?
thank you so much
