What university course should I pursue?

I'm stuck between Child Nursing, Journalism and Digital Marketing. For Child Nursing, I've only just become really interested in the course since doing work experience, and plus I love working with children, however I'm scared of how hard the course is going to be. For journalism, I've been thinking about it since I've picked english language A-level, but I don't know if I have what it takes to take on journalism, and plus it's a competitive field so I'm not sure if i'll be able to achieve a career in that field. And for digital marketing, I'm passionate in art and learning how to create digital advertising and how it's marketed online. But I have no experience in adobe, digital art and marketing, so I'll probably struggle the most out of that course. Ahhhh what should I pick, it's my first week of sixth form and I'm not sure if I should drop english lit for sociology so I can get into a Child Nursing degree!! Please helpppp!!

Hi
I start university next week and am off to study child nursing. I understand where you coming from and there no need to worry or panic I know can be surreal and so much pressure to pick a career now and start preparing to apply to unis I was in the same shoes not so long ago I just finished y13 honestly I was still stuck on what to do I wanted to be a midwife, paramedic, adult nurse, social worker and a child nurse 😂. Lucky I had picked a health and social care level 3 which was a very flexible course that allowed me to pursue various different job roles in health and social care industry but eventually I settled for child nursing. Honestly you will know what course is for you and don’t let fear hold you back if you want to do a course whether it child nursing, journalism and digital marketing although these are 3 completely different degree you should pick what makes you happy. Anyway who’s says you can only have 1 degree you can always go for 2 degree in another subject if you feel like it. Honestly suggest speaking to a career adviser in college for professional advise but hope I helped the best I could.☺️

What is your passion? Journalism - do short internship at your local newspaper or local radio to see if it is of interest.

If you are thinking about Marketing then read this, as it may help you decide where you want to go:
