Is it possible to do an Advanced Higher without a teacher?

Hey everyone I wanted to do both higher German and Advanced Higher Spanish. However German isnt running in my school due to lack of people. Now thankfully I do it in another school. However the problem is that I have to drop Spanish as its in the same column. Tho I was wondering does anyone believe it’s possible to do Advanced Higher Spanish alone? My teacher seemed really strict on it when I asked her today she said it was impossible to do it without a teacher and nobody has done it in my school before. I got an A for my Spanish higher this year and I even went to spain 2 months ago to improve my spanish aswell. If anyone has done Advanced Higher spanish or heard of anyone doing an Advanced Higher without a teacher and still passed it please tell me. Give me your thoughts.
