is there university accomodation for 2nd years (returner accomodation)

Hi, i got into Cardiff uni accommodation this year as a first year undergraduate student, some universities do provide a limited spaces for second year students under returner accommodation.

I haven't found any documentation regarding this in Cardiff uni's website.
I just wanted to know whether there is or there isnt. Any reply from a current Cardiff student or anyone who has studied in Cardiff University is highly appreciated

Hi, current Cardiff student here, going into my final year!

I did have friends who went into university accommodation in 2nd year, although I am unsure if they still do this and what the process is. I would recommend emailing the Residences Office at [email protected] to enquire about this.

There are also opportunities such as becoming a Residence Life Assistant (RLA), where you work to support students living in uni accom in exchange for free university accommodation for the year.
