Anybody got into Newcastle with an access to je diploma?

Pretty much as the title says. My top choice university is Newcastle and I’m doing an access to engineering diploma. I want to study mechanical engineering.

Hiya

Yes Im currently doing stage 1 Bsc Computer Science and I got in through Access to HE.
I did get in through clearing but in all honesty I know people at much more prestigious (Bristol, Leeds etc) who got in with the same level of consideration as A level students so don't worry at all.

With middling grades I managed to get these (okay ish) responses from Unis:
Uni of Manchester: interviewed but failed admissions tests
Newcastle University: got in through clearing
University of Liverpool: got a clearing offer

I will say I was very optimistic in my uni choices originally but so long as you meet the advertised entry requirements you'll be able to get into basically any uni through Access to HE (so all bar oxbridge)

will clarify by saying I mean prestigious as in higher entry requirements and/or higher on the league tables. Good unis are good unis and so far Newcastle University has been amazing
