University problem

I applied through clearing in queens university belfast and I got in but I haven't paid tuition fees because I am waiting for student finance to pay for it but I won't be able to get my student id card if I don't pay for it. My question would I still be able to attend freshers week without a student id card?

QUB should have a separate process for those paying with student finance. To the best of my knowledge, tuition fees aren’t paid from SF until the 1st or 2nd week of university.

I would send them an email and clarify. Are you sure it didn’t have an exemption for home students (it may only be one sentence)?
