Intellectual Property Law - Biotechnology - AI - Career

Hello all!

I have recently completed my LLB. Due to personal circumstances and health, I had not put any thought or effort into my career plan. I had no interest in having a career, however, circumstances have changed (maybe matured 🙄).

Since getting better I have been looking into my interests. I am interested in IP law (this was an elective option in my undergrad). I also have an interest in biotechnology and AI.

So what am I asking...
- Is anyone able to give me hands-on advice on getting into the profession (potentially mentor)?
- Is this realistic?
- Should I complete a Biotechnology degree?
- Any advice in general.
- Job role ideas building the relevant skills required
I do some IP law. I didn't need a biotech degree. Just apply to a law firm that does some IP and try to ensure one of your 4 six month training seats is in that area. If you recently finished your LLB you could apply now ie today or next 2 days to someone like BPP to do their masters with SQE1 and 2 full time course with a masters loan whilst also now the new law firm application season is opening applying to lots of law firms for training contracts (although firms recruit years ahead so you may well need a gap year after the SQE exams
