Should I use A Level Papers?

Just started y13, and since we haven’t covered all the topics yet but have another few exams on content that’s been covered, should I just go through past papers and do the questions on topics I’ve done? Or just stick to as? Also thinking maybe I should do this with the old spec a level papers, Is it a waste of a level papers? This is for a level physics btw (Edexcel).

Don't do this yet. This would be a complete waste of past papers, that is if you intend to use new spec past papers. You ideally shouldn't touch those until 1-2 months before your A-Levels. I would recommend using old specification past papers though. You can check them out on these 2 websites below:

I agree, keep the new spec past papers for later. Start with the older spec past papers, you can also use https://www.tutorpacks.com/physics-a-level-past-papers
They have edexcel a level past papers going back to 2010.
