DWP Work coach pre employment checks

Hi, I work for HMRC i handed in my notice as i needed more hours, 3 days after handing in my notice i got a provisional job offer from DWP and currently going through employment checks. Im just wondering if anyone has been in this position as i have another job starting soon and im scared encase the checks come back failed as i have waiting 1yr 1 month for this job?
