hey ,

Firstly you are NOT average . And believe me , I know those people , the ones who will say the exam was hard or they struggled but they'll walk out with an 8 or 9 and still be upset .
For GCSE : I got 8777666555 ( and most of these just met my predicted grades)
Update for you : I am starting uni next week and just like you , I needed an AAA if I wanted to study at my first choice uni and course . Fast foward to results day last month...... I didn't get in and was in clearing ( were you expecting an academic comeback story? (; )
I still managed to get into a degree in the healthcare field, despite things not entirely working out .
Point aside - I just want to say that yes it's daunting when you see what you need and wonder if you'll get there. But I am telling you from my experience that .. you are always enough , don't compare yourself to others as you can and always will do your best . And yes , believe me the offer of AAA looks scary, but give it all you've got and whether or not things work out fully , just know that whatever comes your way , you'll smash it and get where you want in the end .

Good luck with Yr13- You've got this ! (:
I wouldn't worry about it too much. All the time on TSR people boast about their grades, and people who do well are far more likely to post about it than those who didn't do so well. It can be inimidating to publicly say 'I got lower grades' and so people tend not to, which makes people who are not getting loads of 9's and 8's feel like they are the only ones. The average GCSE grade in the UK is a 5 so you are definitely not a flop. 7 is an A, so there's no reason you cannot achieve the A-level grades you need.
