Just started Highers not going well

I've had 3 tests so far maths(today), chemistry and Biology. Got a B in both chem and bio. But I need all As for Medicine. Don't know what to do. Have a full Unit 1 chem test in 2 dyas. Need to bring grades, got all As in NAT 5s.

that’s such a good start tho! don’t worry with more practice you should do well, starts are not always easy but you’ll get the hang of it dw <3

To be honest, I feel the same as you that I’m underachieving. But you have a good 7/8 months to bring your grades to the As you want, and remember while unit tests are helpful they’re not going to make or break your final grade. So don’t feel too down and work hard!

Don’t worry! Starting with B’s for highers is really good considering the jump from nat 5 is quite a lot. I always found unit 1 in both chem and bio really hard but loved unit 2 and found it a lot easier. Remember this is only the start there is a long way to go until exams!

highers start hard but get much easier by exams if you have good work ethic and put in effort, i got BCCCC in my prelims then AAAAA in final exams
