Hi,
I have previously used 3 years of funding but wasn't able to progress due to some unforseen cirumstances.
The calculation it shows was 4 + 1 - 3 = 2 yrs left
(course length + extra year - previous year = result)
I applied for CPR for 2 additional years for starting at 23/24 year and got accepted for study 3 year degree with foundation so 4 yrs total.
(Note: it said that the 2nd year application funding wont be need as long as i progress into the course)
I now have transferred into a 1st year in a Scottish uni after completing my foundation degree but after applying for SFE for 24/25, today it said that I would only have 2 years of funding left and the first 2 years I have to fund myself.
I don't understand how I dont have funding for rest of my degree if CPR has been accepted. As it said on my letter than I dont have to apply for following years funding as long as I progress into the course.
Does this mean I have to reapply for CPR for this year and next year funding using the exact previous CPR as I done before or will i not get any at all?
Additional thoughts:
***From my understanding after CPR got approved for the 4 year course with foundation. It means I have 2 years additional funding. 1st year of funding got used on the foundation year and so I am left with 1 more year of funding. Would this not mean that I should atleast have now 3 years of funding left to finish that 4 year course with foundation on the previous university.***
