yes but i feel she hates my guts and she spread rumors that i was the one being mean to her when she was the one

Its not worth your time.
If you genuinely care about your friendship with them, then ask her whats up? State the truth and hear her out.
If you know fr that she's been spreading rumours, its literally not worth it, and ppl who listen to rumours and let it affect their relationship with you, without confronting you, they're not worth your time either.
I'm a girl, so when it comes to other girls doing this, I often always ask why I'm hearing things about me and at the very least, try to sort things out. If it happens more than 2x, I tap out.
When it comes to guys, I don't bother, it's often always a dumb reason as to why they're chatting ****, but it's almost never worth it and they know it.
