Level 3 certificate health and social care

Has anyone studied this course, was it interesting, demanding etc?
Thank you.
Hey,

Yes I have.

It’s less units/exams than extended diploma. And certificate itself, i think it’s one year depending on your college if they’re transfer u onto ur second year making it national diploma. But check with your college about this.

Assignment wise and exam wise. First year is okay. Remember the units your college chooses are diff than what mine probably did. What units are you doing?

Also be aware that this course is only 2 a levels and not 3. Where as unis prefer 3 a levels. But u can still get into uni with 2. I did not know this, so be aware! And if you’d rather do 3 a levels, then explore other options too. Just a heads up

@Dreamsandwishes Actually if it is a BTEC, a Certificate is only half an A level (Diploma is 2 A levels) Check the spec ; https://qualifications.pearson.com/content/dam/pdf/BTEC-Nationals/Health-and-Social-Care/2016/specification-and-sample-assessments/9781446937976-btec-nat-cert-hsc-ag-spec-iss3c.pdf

Yes I just finished this course in college and next-week I start university to study child nursing. Honestly it is an amazing course but there are coursework and exams. It very important to keep on top of your coursework or else it can become very overwhelming. However I would defend recommend this course I personally really enjoyed it.

Im currently doing national diploma at college. and its 2 a levels certificate year 1 is one a level, and then in second year it gets pushed to a national diploma. and then extended diploma is 3 a levels.
