Heyy! 😊

I'm doing Biomedical and Healthcare Engineering I’m in my second year now. If you have any questions about the course, commuting, or just what to expect in first year and uni life in general, feel free to ask!

And that’s great you’re thinking about Freshers it’s honestly such a good way to ease into uni, It gives you the chance to explore the campus a bit, meet people from different courses, and check out societies and clubs you might want to join. Even just going to a few events can help you feel more settled and less like you're figuring everything out on your own.

Let me know if you want help finding what’s on! 🙌🏼

Hey! I'm a second-year Sociology with Psychology and Data Analytics student at City, so we're both in the School of Policy and Global Affairs (SPGA)- it's nice to see another SPGA student joining!😄

Most of our SPGA stuff is based in the Rhind Building, which is kind of like the "home base" for our school. It's a really chill place once you get used to it. That said, one fun thing is that not all our lectures and seminars will be in Rhind- you'll probably have some lectures and seminars in other parts of the university too. It's nice because it gives you the chance to explore the campus more and get a feel for different buildings.

I commute as well, so I get how you're feeling. The nearest stations- Angel, Barbican, and Farringdon- are all within walking distance, and it's a pretty enjoyable walk, especially when the weather cooperates!🤣

I understand how it can feel a bit lonely at first, but reaching out like this is a great step. You'll definitely meet people from all over and different courses 🤗.
