I don't know what to do!

I'm in year 13 rn and I am set on taking a gap year, but what do i do if i want to do that. do I continue with UCAS and apply during the same time as the other year 13's? who do i contact if i want to take a gap year?

It doesn't really matter. You can apply now and defer or you can apply next year when you have real grades. What is worth pointing out is that universities are desperate for students and are fighting each other to attract people because foreign student numbers are massively down. If Labour change the rules, this might change by next year so it may be worth hedging your bets and applying this year with a view to deferring for a year. Your school / college should be able to advise you on this. Ask them!
