hi i’ve applied for UEA for criminology starting in september and i’m currently sitting my a levels with one exam left. i’m really worried about not meeting the grade requirements, as i have to get ABB and i have felt that one of my subjects has not gone very well. How lenient are UEA with meeting grade requirements?

Hi Lily, I would say reach out to admissions if you can. I spoke to them on my open day and they were very helpful when discussing this with me. It will depend on the course and how popular it is, for example for psychology they said they would take me if I got one grade below (so I needed BBB for ABB). So definitely reach out to them and see if they can give you any information It was really reassuring when I spoke to them because I was so worried I wouldn't get the grades! I ended up getting way below the grade requirements because of COVID but still got, but of course everyone's situation is different.

Good luck on your last exam! 😊
