This is the thread for people who are thinking of applying to the University of Law for 2025!

Meet and chat to other people applying here.

Here are a few suggested opening questions, but ask whatever you want regarding the University of Law.

1) What A Levels are you doing (or other eligible qualifications)?
2) What course at the University of Law do you have your eyes on? And why?
3) What grades did you get/are you predicted to get at GCSE and Sixth Form?
4) Why the University of Law specifically?
5) Which admissions tests do you have to sit if any, and when will you start preparing for them?
6) Will you be attending any Open Days?
7) How are you feeling about starting University?
8) Other unis you're interested in?

Hey Tash,

I'd advise having a look at Paralegal job adverts to see what firms are looking for because it can really vary.
The ones I've seen recently typically state that they require applicant with a a university degree achieving at least a 2:1 ideally a law degree, or post-graduate law conversion.

So yes if you don't have a Law degree and you'd like to pursue the paralegal route then a law conversion course would be ideal. It's worth noting there are different types of law conversion courses the most popular being MA Law Conversion and Postgraduate Diploma in Law.
