Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone knew any reasons that you SFE application would be stopped by the system for approval by a manager. I did my application over 2 months ago and only started putting pressure on SFE 2 weeks as I start school on 17th. Now I’m being told my application has been approved it just needs to be checked over and to wait a further 5 working days and this again leaves me behind schedule. I’ve applied for a maintenance loan as I would be staying away from home, but I’ve also had SFE already this year that was stopped as I dropped out and I was told to repay, may that be what’s is influencing it.

Hi Tiaxrx,

Some applications require approval by a Team Leader which can take up to 5 working days, this is correct. unfortunately we wouldn't be able to expedite this process.

This can happen if the assessor does not have full authority to approve the application.
