First, a bit of background. I'm going to be studying at Kingston University on the Computing and Maths foundation year, that can go into just Computer Science or a few other paths. The one i'm currently going into is Computer Science, but Games Programming seems more fun. Should I switch course?
Which seems more appealing to you? Also, consider which you'd feel you have more of an interest in - that would be the one to lean nearer to, in my opinion. Also consider what you'd like to go into for the future, which one has more of a link to that.

I am assuming you are already here at Kingston for welcome week, if so I hope it is going well so far.
I think it is important to study whichever you feel you enjoy more as it will be what you put a lot of time into for the next 3 years. With this being said I think it is important to do your research, have a look at both course pages on the website and carefully read through both of the course content to see which aligns more with what you want to do.
Assuming you are already there I would say it is a great opportunity to find out more information by talking to your lectures. It would also be great if they could even introduce you to students studying the course you are thinking of doing so you can see how they find the courses. And I am assuming this week you will start attending inductions and lectures so you can see what you think of the course you are currently on to help you make the decision.
I hope this helps and good luck in making your decision 🙂 If you have anymore questions feel free to ask. -Grace (Kingston Rep)
