anki or quizlet?

hey guys im currently in year 12 and i am studying psychology, sociology and business studies. ive never made digital flashcards as during gcses i would use pmt and would use paper flashcards but i realised im better with digital. ive look on tiktok to see which out of the two was better and i am still unsure as ive heard good things about both. i was thinking about using both to do flashcards but id rather have jt all on one platform to make it easier for me. quizlet looks like its much easier to use but if anki is better i can probably try figure out how to use it even though its confusing. any opinions on this?

It depends on your learning style I think! I've used both of them a bit. Anki is really good, but it very heavily depends on you using it every single day as it's based on spaced repetition - otherwise the flashcards build up, it becomes a bit overwhelming (for me at least) and the effect of the spaced repetition is lost. I've used Quizlet consistently for about six years now, and although it's gone downhill a bit (some features that used to be free like write mode are now subscription only), I'd still really recommend it. There's lots of different options for how to review your flashcards, and it's not time-based like anki so it's much better if you need to cram quickly (ideally you won't of course but sometimes it does come to that)

thank you so much! i think im leaning towards quizlet more as i use videos to revise as well so i think the flashcards would build up with anki
