If you used Clearing in 2024, how did you find it?

Delayed entry to varna med school via medlink

Hi, My name is Mariam and I applied to Varna med school for this years intake. I applied with medlink and a week ago they told us that it would take the ministry of education in Bulgaria a minimum of 6 weeks for them to process our documents.This means that we will not be included in the unis ranking until the middle of October.

I am wondering if anyone else is in this situation as this would mean that the university will start without us which is not an ideal situation .

Hi Mariam, my daughter has also gone through Medlink and is waiting to find out, we have been told by the end of next week for notification of a place. Like you I understand it is a delay in the ministry of education that is holding things up - it is very frustrating but Medlink are simply communication the facts. I have no idea what the impacts are of the delay but it will be harder to arrange accommodation etc there is no doubt and also it will take time to get the visas etc. I wish you all the best

Hello there ! Thank you for your reply . Like your daughter ,they also have told me by the end of next week . I wish all the best for your daughter and hopefully she gets in .
