Does anyone else have hallucinations after waking up in the middle of the night?

Sometimes when I wake from dreaming in the middle of the night I get these spooky vivid hallucinations of figures. They are of a person, for example one of the last one was sitting in a chair holding a gun. It's really vivid but I can tell the form is not 'solid' if that makes sense.

Hi There

We hear that you are waking up in the middle of the night and seeing spooky vivid hallucinations of figures. We understand that you acknowledge that these are hallucinations because they are not solid objects or people. We empower you to get some medical advice about this. You can reach out for medical support either by speaking with your GP or by calling NHS 111 🫶

You have done really well to use this space to be honest about how you are feeling. If you are feeling like suicide is an option right now then you can call Hopeline247 on 0800 068 4141 or Text us on 88247 to speak with a trained Suicide Prevention Adviser who will be more than happy to help 💟

I'm ok thanks. I already take antipsychotic meds for a condition I have. I have medical help whenever I need it. It was more this separate phenomenon I wanted to discuss to see if anyone else experienced it.
Not the same, but I get auditory hallucinations and sleep paralysis when I try to nap during the day (e.g. I can hear what sounds like people walking around my house and sometimes talking and sometimes lying next to me but I can't actually move to go check if there is anyone there). It's can be quite scary and unpleasant but luckily, I can avoid them by not taking naps. I don't have psychosis so I think they are just hypnogogic/hypnopompic hallucinations, which I think are relatively common (though mine seem to be very vivid).
