should i meet this guy in real life?

we met on instagram two weeks ago. at first, i had no intention of ever meeting him irl, but he really wants to. ngl he's decent looking and loaded and we have a lot in common. i'm also kinda lonely. i cut ties with most of my family and friends a long time ago. my boyfriend is always busy and i feel like he's given up on me because of my declining mh. every day feels the same. i feel like i'm just destined to ******* die in this house, if i don't change something

should i give it a try and just meet him (as friends)? he's made it pretty clear that he likes me. but i know it's usually all talk and most men just want to **** and will tell you anything, lol. i have no intention of cheating btw. just want to see what his intentions are, what he's like irl. i'm scared i'll just ruin everything

Go for it.

BTW did you ever try the Vitamin B12?
And the home-made tomato soup?
Yeah go for it as long as someone knows where you are, that youre safe and you've made very clear your not interested in a relationship

his acc is verified so probably not a serial killer, haha
I would meet him irl but make your intentions clear: that you want to be friends. Maybe after getting to know him more, be more than friends.

It’s testing the water though. And you're already pretty clear on his motivation. It’s a playing with fire situation

well, it's possible to be just friends even if you're attracted to someone, we're not animals. it's not a crime to explore your options imo

It’s more honourable to end a relationship before exploring options, although a stepping stone approach to moving on is common enough I suppose

but i don't know if i want it to end. i'm just tired of everything including my relationship, but that doesn't mean a new one would be any better, so idk. it's very possible that i would really regret losing what i have now.

Understand, it has the potential to get a bit messy though

If you had a live-in professional chef. One that cooked to Michelin rosette standards. That also focused on first class nutrition for you. Would you eat what they cooked?

probably not. i'm very obsessive/ocd about my food. i like to know the exact calories etc. i'm also extremely picky, when it comes to food, my diet is pretty restricted
