Unsure if my maintenance loan is too high?

I've been offered a scholarship from my university which states: "These scholarships have been offered to all UK students whose household income has been assessed as below £32,500 by the Student Loans Company (SLC)."

My household income is £48,000, and I have received a full maintenance loan of £10,227, which I had considered was slightly high already considering the calculator stated I would only receive around £7,000. I am just slightly alarmed as I'm not sure whether I have been accidentally afforded a higher maintenance loan than I should have been. For additional context, I am from a single-income household, where my Dad is technically self-employed and is the sole earner, and I also have a sister who is in further education. I have heard that there are deductions made for people depending on the amount of children in the household, but I just wanted to ask in case something has gone wrong.
Hi there. The income we used for the 24/25 Academic Year is taken from the 22/23 tax year. If you are still unsure of this, you may need to get your father to contact us directly so we can discuss the income we hold for him on the system, as we get this directly from the HMRC. We cannot discuss parental income with the student's due to GDPR. Thanks, Leah.

I understand that I am unable to access the HMRC information, however I was wondering if it still would have been affected by having a sibling who is in further education. I will have him contact SLC to see if there could be some issue on the system, but I would still like to know whether the amount I have been given could be affected by something else.
Hi qtea831,

We would take into account if you have siblings who are also in education.

Thanks,
Calum
