Unsure which unis I could get into for law/should apply for

I will most likely be predicted A*AA in History, English Lit and Lang, an A* in EPQ, and I have mixed gcse results of 9-5, with the 5 in maths. I was wondering if I could realistically get in/ if there were any other options
1.)KCL/Warwick
2.) Manchester
3.)York/Leeds/Nottingham
-unsure about Bath/Durham if they’re too unrealistic
LNAT- average around 29/30for practice tests
I’d like to have 1/2 safety schools but unsure.

Bath doesnt offer Law.

And good Insurance choices could be Sussex, Surrey or Reading

Could I ask if KCL/Manchester put a lot weight in your GCSES?

This is exactly the sort of question to ask at a University Open Day.

If you are not able to do this, then post a question on the Law forum

Hi there,

It's great to hear that you're considering applying to York!

At York, our typical offer for Law (LLB) is:

AAA at A level, which it sounds like you're on track to receive, well done!

The Law course at York uses a Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach which allows our students to put into practice the theory they are taught. We also have the Baroness Hale Legal Clinic which students can get involved in and get real world experience working with 'live' clients directly on a range of topics. In terms of reputation, York Law School is in the top 25 in the UK according to the Times Higher Education's ranking of the latest REF results (2021).

But, I appreciate that I'm not a York Law School graduate, so I can't talk from experience. So, if you would like to get a better idea of what it's like to study Law at York, you could watch these videos from our students:

I hope this helps with your decision, and best of luck with your applications if you're yet to make them! - Hannah 😀
