You HAVE TO resit English and Maths until you pass, it's the law. If you will or will not be able to go to sixth form depends on the other grades you got as well. But why would you apply to sixth form if you cannot even write a post on Student Room so people can read it properly and you failed the last time? I think it may be too challenging as you don't seem to have enough knowledge and dedication so far. Consider going to college and do things such as engineering, hairdressing, nursing maybe? People like you often do well in such careers!

Might be best to be a little nice. Non-native speakers might struggle with their English.

we don’t know other ppl’s difficulties and struggles, that sounds really harsh. also things like ‘ people like you’ basically is implying you know this person? i have a friend who’s really lazy, but is honestly so smart, and they failed their a levels, and retook and got 3 a*’s. Some people geniunely can be so smart, yet just not try much. Plus gcses are really straightforward once u get the gist of it, it’s all ab past papers n Flashcards really.

Honestly it might feel like the end of the world but it isn’t you’ll get through figure it out go around to ur local colleges most the time they let u resit for free if not one college try another. If u can get onto a btec course some let u on with grade 3 maths depending on the course ,then resit alongside this ur core subjects.speak to the college advisor or admissions see what they think is best there’s always a way to get back up! Best of luck

It is okay! Even if you did fail them, the key component is that you have realised what went wrong. As you’re still under 18, you can stay in education at college or 6th form. Don’t put yourself down, you can do it! Often schools will let you on to resit and do a btec alongside. Or even at a college. If you don’t have a grade 3 in maths you may not be put onto level 3 btec straight away. Do a level 2, pass your maths and English as a MUST. And then move onto level 3 extended diploma, which will give you 3 a levels. And allow you to go university. Also, if your let onto a level subjects, at 6form. Try to sit with your school! There’s no need to pay right now. You’ve got multiple other options as you’re still a minor. Explore them all. And good luck! Make sure you don’t get onto a btec course that’s only 2 a levels. Make sure it’s 3!
