resit diaries #2

Hey everyone,
Hope you’re well. Just a little update, I’ve been quite emotional these past few days, just feeling a bit of guilt for wanting to sit my exams again privately since the school has allowed me to come back, but I still feel like I’d prefer the private setting, and if it means paying more I’ll do it.

I’m revising for my UCAT I just watched a video today I was meant to do a mock but I’ve got a bad headache and don’t feel like my brain is taking it in today, so I’ll do my mock tomorrow instead. I am a little conscious, since I had a huge fear of burn out in Year 13 and I feel like that limited how much I was revising, I don’t want that to be the same for UCAT, but I also don’t want to burn out.

Generally just feeling quite lonely and down if I’m honest. I feel like a lot of my decisions come down to my UCAT performance, so not having anything set in stone at the minute is really uncomfortable for someone like me who really wants to know everything.

Just taking every day as it comes, I’m in a much better position than I was around a month ago when I just got my results back, so I am making progress slowly but surely.

Heyyy thanks so much for replying
It means so much to know it’s not just me, it’s very isolating a lot of my friends move out on the day of my UCAT and I don’t want to burden them with my struggles because I know they’re excited for uni so I’ve kind of just sat with my own thoughts instead, our time will come soon ❤️
