King’s college London MSC rejection

Kings rejected me stating “Your application has now been carefully considered and we regret to inform you that you have been unsuccessful in obtaining a place on the programme.
The reason for this was: Unfortunately, due to the competitive nature of this programme we have not been able to make you an offer. After considering all aspects of your application, your application was not as strong as others received”

Program starts on 23/09 and they sent me this response on 13/09. I feel betrayed.

What can I do now? Can I ask the uni reconsider? Please give suggestions.

Thank you

I had applied for MSc economics and finance on 06/08/24. I completed undergraduate in 2023.

honestly, if they took that long to reply i'd take it as a sign that they're not serious.

Any advice, how I could possibly ask them to reconsider or something ? Because even if I apply again for 2025 I will be using the same personal statement and everything else so how will this make a difference?

i'n afraid i don't have any suggestions other than asking them to elaborate on their reasoning for rejecting your application so close to the programme start date? i'm not a master's student so that's the only idea i have rn.
