Can I get into medical schools with these GCSE results

In my GCSEs I got 7888878852
The 2 was in Latin, which I failed
The 5 was in computing
I got a 7 in maths & chemistry
And 8s in Biology,Physics, geography,RE,English language and English literature.
I’m worried that the 2 in Latin will throw off my application as well as my 5 in computing. Is it still possible to apply to medicine if my A-Level results are good and reach requirements and my UCAT is high enough? Will these gcse results be too bad as I didn’t get any 9’s and failed a language (Latin)? Please help thank you!

You will be fine as long as you did well in Maths and English which you did. Many universities don't even have requirements about GCSE results and even if they do it's usually just English and Maths. You a-levels is what counts, relax.

Have a look in the medicine forum at the guides on applying. Some medical schools value GCSEs more highly than others, but you will be able to find out which ones those are and exactly how they do so.

Oxford wouldn’t love that but you’ll be fine with basically every other medical school I think. Check these schools’ requirements for GCSEs if you want to satisfy any worry.

What about my results:
9 - Religious Studies, English Language and Literature
8 - Chemistry, Maths, and Further Maths
7 - Geography
6 - Biology and Physics (I was 3 marks off a 7 for both)
