Year 11 mocks

Hey guys i jus started year 11 and have mocks in november, i also want to go to a very competitive sixth form which requires basically all nines in predicted grades, so i was just wondering if i got all 8s in my mocks will that mean my teachers will mostly give me 9s as predicted grades because i have still a long time from november to my gcses?

Only 1270 people last year got all 9s and not many more people had there grades predicted. Even if you ended up being predicted all 8s it should be enough. What college are you applying to?
Predicted grades are based mainly on teachers feeling about what you will get, internal assessments, work in class all counts. Some teachers intentionally make them lower, some never predict 9s and many only predict 9s if that what you got on the mock(although it is not a guarantee at all).
You are not normally allocated a place based on your predicted place so don't worry too much about it but anyway always aim to the top!
