Specific Course: History of Art
Universities you're applying to: Cambridge, Courtauld, Leeds, Bristol, Nottingham?
A level / IB / Higher grades: A*A*A* + EPQ A*
GCSE grades: 99999999999
Random question: will applying for a college with written work required disadvantage me?? I only do one essay subject (English Lit) and I'm worried about other people having more relevant subjects/ more breadth ☹️ I don't understand how pooling works if some require written work and some don't

Hi! I’m an international student from Australia applying to study history of art in 2025.

The universities I’ve applied to: Oxford, UCL, Edinburgh, St Andrew’s
Grades: Australian grades, apparently equivalent to IB 39

Random question: I’ve already submitted my application at the end of September, does anyone know what the usual wait time for most of these unis (other than Oxford) are until you hear back from them about an offer? I know that this course isn’t as popular as some others may be at these unis, so I just wanted to know if they give out offers earlier on like some other course or if they wait until March-ish. Thanks!

Is the order in which you wrote that list your order of preference?

not sure yet exactly- I've only applied to camb, courtauld and leeds so far so they are my main 3 anyway. The other two options are still in consideration

If you don't get Cambridge you can go to the Courtauld. TBH studying History of Art at provincial universities makes no sense at all!

Hi, just wondering if anyone has received any offers so far? I've applied on the 23rd of September to Oxford, UCL, Edinburgh and St Andrews, and received a conditional offer from St Andrews on the 12th of November. Yet to hear back from the others. Has anyone heard back regarding history of art in these unis? If so could you share what your conditions were? Thanks!
