Physician's Associate

So I'm looking to careers in health care and originally wanted to be a theatre nurse since I don't have science at a level (I'm in year 12) and saw some careers as a PA and absolutely fell in love with the career since it's everything I've ever wanted to do in a job.

The NHS does say you need science however, they mentioned I could be a registered nurse and apply to become a PA?

How would this work since I didn't take science at A level and would NTU take me on?

Any thoughts?

The University of Bradford does not require specific science subjects for adult nursing, they require BBC, to include at least two full A levels. HERE

The University of Northampton also does not require specific science subjects for adult nursing and require BCC at A level. HERE.

Nottingham Trent University does not mention they need any specific science subjects on their website, it states you require 104 - 112 UCAS Tariff points from up to four qualifications (two of which must be A-level equivalent), so this seems like a option you can take. (HERE)

There may be more - you would have to do your research, but these are the ones I definitely know - after these courses you could do an MSc in Physician Associate.

Oh my gosh thank you so much! I struggled majorly with trying to find out what I could be and was torn when most places said to be a physicians associate you needed science. I'm glad my dream is achievable through different routes after experience as an RN!
