Advice for application for medicine 2025

Hi everyone, I am hoping to apply to medicine 2025 undergraduate entry and i would appreciate advice on the following.
GCSEs: 6,7,8,8,8,8,8,8,8
A level predictions:A*AA(biology, chemistry snd history)
UCAT:2720 Band 2
I am aware that these aren't amazing so I am hoping to apply strategically. I am a home (UK) student. I was thinking of applying to some to the following:
Liverpool
Brighton
Plymouth
UEA
Lancaster
St george's(unlikely but is aspirational)
I am also thinking for my 5th option to apply for either Biomed or Pharamcy at Brighton. I am still deciding on this so any advice would be great! Please let me know if you think these universities are safe options. I am also hoping to email their admissions teams.
Moreover, I am afraid the UCAT cut off will increase past my score as looking at past statistics, they are steadily increasing, but given that the BMAT was scrapped would this affect UCAT cut offs considering more people may be doing the UCAT? Thanks!

well done, you've got solid stats that should get you 4 interviews
liverpool and plymouth are decent options though high post interview competition
uea would be high post interview competition with ucat counting 50% post interview score
lancaster is difficult to say as they previously used bmat but may be ok
Brighton may be ok but same situation as Lancaster
sgul is actually probably a safer bet though not guaranteed x

I would also consider adding brunel

I would agree SGUL’ one of the easier medical schools

Thank you so much! I looked at Brunel University and I can see they only offer 50 places for UK universities tho? Would this not be a bit risky considering it’s mainly for international students

Liverpool and Plymouth are decent options but have quite low interview to offer ratios (especially Liverpool), there could be a few safer options
Lancaster and Brighton are both unknowns
St George’s is fine if your other 3 are safe

Have a look at Brunel and edge hill
For a safety keele or Kent

I got post interview rejections last year my predicted were A*A*A* 2910 band 3. Rejections from imperial Sheffield and leads. This Time my stats are I have the following achieved grades:
A levels : A*A* AA( chemistry, EPQ, maths, biology)
GCSEs: 999999999(English language, maths, further maths, computer science, physics, chemistry, biology, geography, RE),8(Spanish), 7 (English literature).
UCAT 2820 band 2
Is
Manchester

safe set of choices choices for me.

Also which universities put less weight on interview and which ones give preference to acheived grades.

Where did you end up applying and did you secured any interviews yet? I don’t think there is any uni that do not weight interview scores heavily, in fact I think most uni only considered interview scores unless a tiebreaker.
