Can I still apply to top university with these statistics?
Hello all,
I currently just started y12 with Maths, economics and politics as my a level choices . My gcse grades are 88888776 (one 6 and one 8 have been sent back for remark as they were close to the next grade.) For my GCSE’s I was homeschooled and learned all the content by myself with no teacher.
I would really like to study PPE at Oxford or Finance at LSE but I am not sure if it is worth applying with my GCSE grades as well as the fact that I am not taking further maths. To add, outside of school, I have competed for team GB ( I train 30 hours per week which interferes with school time) in my chosen sport numerous times and am on track to completing my grade 7 in violin by the time I apply for university.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
