Is a Economics and Business Bsc degree a good option?

I am highly interested in business but I'm also in the mind of which I know how important economic knowledge contributes to success. I have the option of studying just business on its own (analytics) or Economics and Business as a joint degree. My future plans after first year was to possibly switch to Economics and Data Science. I've been giving it some thought, however, and I'm wondering whether I would've been better off just studying business then sticking to it up to a masters. Based on the modules of the Econ and Business degree they are equally shared in both categories, half are finance and half are economics on an even split but how useful is economics as a subject when it comes to employment? Business is a very strong point for me but I always want an opportunity to get double knowledge of two subjects for one tuition/degree. Is it worth it?
