TMUA for Cambridge Maths

On the website for TMUA registration, it says that the January exams won't be applicable to Cambridge students. However, I know that Cambridge takes STEP into account, not TMUA, for students taking a maths degree.

So I have 2 questions:
- Having taken STEP as well, would Cambridge take TMUA into account at all while considering my application?
- If so, would Cambridge not look at TMUA if I were to take the exam in January rather than October?

Cambridge won't see TMUA if you've done it and are applying for maths.
So is it fine for me to apply for the January sitting despite applying for Cambridge maths? I need the TMUA for Imperial

I think Imperial look at STEP if you aren't taking the first TMUA exams, but only if you're not an early applicant to Imperial. You can apply early to Cambridge but you don't have to apply early to all your choices, so you should be able to use STEP for both Imperial and Cambridge.
