1st year retakes
My grandson has failed we think 2 modules in his first year. His university is letting him do them again but this has brought up lots of questions. He only found out this week and is supposed to be returning this week
Will he get student finance support. He has only just committed to a house rental which he is now worried that he won’t have the funds for. Help.

Will the university class him as a student in attendance or a student not in attendance?

Tbh I don’t know.he intends to go back and redo the modules so presumably in attendance

Hi Jane, if he's in attendance then he would be assessed for the maintenance loan. We'd need his course year to be corrected if it's previously showing for the wrong year. Thanks, Jason
