Tips on how to be more Social

Hi, I am a 17 year girl, who has fearful avoidant attachment. I just started sixth form, but haven't been able to make any friends. What advice would you give me? 🙂
Do you mean Social Anxiety Disorder?

If so, I would suggest just pushing yourself to do something.

It worked for me when I was trying to apologize to a girl that I like...

Also, I would recommend getting your buddies by your side as backup.

Trust me.

They work.

(check my bio for my posts for more info).

I hyperventilate when I talk to Carolyne, but I forced myself to do it. And it worked. 😊

Hmmmmmm......

I would say the EXACT same thing.

Force yourself to be there.

Do not care about what people will think about you.

And just be you!

Plus, if you want to make yourself be more approachable, here are some tips.

1.

If you feel too scary or ominous, bend your legs inward to make yourself look smaller.

2.

Smile way more.

3.

If you have long hair, tie it into a ponytail. (this is just from a boys viewpoint)

4.

Don't ignore people that look alone. Go out there and talk to them!!!!

you should try create a new image in her head about you ( don't change yourself).
Try remove yourself from the only friends route.
stop jumpscare her all the time do it sometimes ( like a inside joke between you two). Try find out her type subtlety!

as an outside perspective, im not you. I can only give you advice from my point of view. And my genuine point of view is talk to someone. I know, I know, "that's like telling a depressed person to just not be sad" but this might work. start off slow, with a hello, maybe even try to get some people with your own humor. you might have better chances of getting friends if you crack a joke once or twice in your conversation, really observe, did they laugh, were they confused, did they slowly back away? take these things into account.

What city is nearest to yours?

Nottingham is the city closest to my city
Carlisle and Isle of man seems really far away. Also Reading and Northampton.
