What is it?

Yeah my class did junior in years 7 and 8 then intermediate in year 9 and senior in years 10 and 11. I was in extension maths though so only that class did this. The rest of my year only did intermediate from year 9 each year.

I am in my first year of sixth form. I am taking maths, physics and chemistry in school, but because my school don't offer computer science, and I really want a cs A Level, I am self studying that alongside the A Levels. I will try to post everyday on what I have done for the day. If any of you have any exam questions, or questions about my subjects or just some tips, feel free to post.

I know I haven't been posting regularly because I was busy and stuff... so here is a breakthrough of what I had done in the past couple of days:
Friday 20/09:

Saturday 21/09:

Today I want to finish all my homework, complete 2 hours on uplearn for maths and chem, read ahead in maths and get ahead of the class and do a bunch of UKMT questions as well. That will be about 5 hrs out my day, if I start now.
Also, if anyone on this thread does A Level Computer Science AQA, please let me know, because I need all the help I can get for that, because self studying it is so hard rn without a tutor. I only want to get a tutor when I know the basics of CS, in order to not waste valuable money

Good luck with your work! I haven’t done any prep for the UKMT- to be honest Ive signed up and have no idea when it even is lol. I might have to do some practice papers too 🙂

Let's just say that it's not your normal a level content. You will be faced with some next questions to do with problem solving. Having the knowledge is the easy part, putting it into practice and knowing what to do is so hard

How did you find the SMC in the end?

The whole test was alright... I answered about 10 questions, but I only had half the time (stupidly). I guessed a few at the end cuz why not? I think I got about 60-70 marks
