IMU Malaysia Partner University Option Enquiry

Hi guys so I m planning on going to IMU Partner University Option in February, 2025. Presuming I do get in I have a few questions for someone already doing the program.
1. How is the transfer granted? How well do I need to do to get my preferred transfer option?
2. After I transfer I do get the final MBBS qualification from the partner university right? Is this qualification recognised the same way if I did all 5 years at the same university worldwide? (Let's say Queen Mary University in UK will I get the same recognition for my final degree doing it through the transfer program) or will I be at a certain disadvantage?
3. In terms of job opportunities will I get the same opportunities an international student who studied all 5/6 years in UK/Australia through this pathway?

Appreciate the support shown in this regard.

If you're accepted into the IMU-PMS pathway, transfer is guaranteed, as long as you pass your semesters. Your preferred transfer option depends on how competitive the uni is. If let's say you want to transfer to Edinburgh and it's a highly popular option, you would need to have very good grades and eligible IELTS for it. Some uni will also prefer students with good curriculars but mostly they see your grades first.

Yes, the final qualification will be from the partner uni and it's the same with those who went there for all 5 years. There won't be a distinction from ex-IMU students and local/international students there.

There won't be any distinction you get the same opportunities. Placement is based on a ranking system they have there which depends on your own results from what I heard. If they were to prioritize certain groups it'll be the local UK students.
