Is it worth applying to dental school if i didn't have a good ucat score?
Hi,
I got 2580 band 2 in ucat, predicted A*A*A* and 99998876 L2D* L2D* for gcses. I was going to defer my entry to 2026. However, I didn't do well in my ucat I don't know if its worth applying this year or should I just wait for another year to apply. I am aiming for Sheffield, Leeds or Liverpool. I have checked Liverpool do not consider re-applications from those who have been unsuccessful following an interview but not sure about the others. Should I still have a try or not? Thank you.

What I was thinking is my ucat score probably won't get me anywhere, but now I decided I should have a try for the experience. Thank you!

congrats!! did you end up applying to Sheffield? I'm in a similar position this year and am wondering how lenient they are about the ucat.
