I applied for Student Finance in May, but due to an administrative error from my university, they mistakenly informed Student Finance that I had suspended my studies. In reality, I had only transferred courses. As a result, my loan was reduced by £3,000, and I was asked to repay that amount. Since May, I’ve been working with my university to resolve the issue, and they only managed to correct it on the 30th of August. They have now submitted the necessary information to Student Finance to update my circumstances. However, I have been informed that it could take up to 31 working days for this to be processed, which would extend into October. Unfortunately, I cannot afford to wait that long, as it would leave me unable to cover my living and academic expenses. Without the necessary financial support, I fear I may have to drop out of my course and potentially face homelessness. I am in a very difficult situation, and I would greatly appreciate it if you could prioritize my case or advise me on any steps I can take to expedite the process. Your assistance would make a significant difference in my ability to continue my studies and avoid severe financial hardship.
