i want to apply to qub for psychology but they are asking for a grade B in maths. I achieved a grade C in foundation is there any point in applying or are they strict on grades ?

I don't know about QUB specifically, but generally speaking GCSE requirements are non-negotiable. Applying without meeting those requirements will likely lead to a swift rejection. Sorry. :frown:

As above - stated GCSE grades are a definite requirement, not just 'nice to have'.
Psych at degree level is a science, and maths ability is essential for the stats/data element of the degree - they have set this grade requirement for a reason.

There are other good Unis that only require a 4/C grade - as examples
Psychology and Cognitive Science, undergraduate courses : University of Sussex
BA Hons Psychology Degree in Glasgow, UK | University of Strathclyde
etc
