Can anyone tell me what the Illustration course at Leeds Beckett is like?

Hi guys I'm desperate because I needed to decide this weeks ago and the course starts tomorrow (so I will be starting late if I decide to apply).

I'm deciding between Beckett and Leeds Arts University. I missed the chance for open days. The big problem I have is, while there's a good range of info on the Leeds Arts course, there's not much on Beckett. The Beckett course spec seems good, actually better than Leeds Art. Apparently it incorporates some graphic design and animation and it seems more hands on and practical. But they haven't really shown or described their facilities, just said they're really good basically.

The Leeds Arts facilities look amazing, and there's just more student reviews and stuff, so I feel a lot more confident knowing what I'm getting into.

Any thoughts and advice AT ALL will be very much appreciated!!

Leeds is a great city to study in with a thriving arts community. There’s always something different to do so you are guaranteed an excellent social life. Our campus is based next to the city centre, so you have a range of great cafes, shops, green spaces and galleries at your doorstep. The Sunday Times has recently named it as the best place to live in the north. I have enclosed a link below with some of our must-visit places :

Hi, thanks for your post. I did try applying but was told I need a Level 3 in art/design unfortunately. Sucks because I have a decent portfolio but they couldn't consider me even if I submitted one.
